No! I have to go to physical therapy at 6:00 for my leg. You remember the leg that cramps and the toes that go numb? The orthopedic doctor concurred with the results of the nerve test. There is nothing wrong with my leg. She feels that it is simply a matter of it not healing properly from the original injury and now it doesn't respond the way it should. She feels the therapy will get it working correctly again. Have you ever had physical
therapy? I did on my hands. I believe that one of their goals
is to see how quickly they can get the patient to cry.
I damn well had better at least get a new, free Ace bandage out of this. Oh goodie, it's time to leave. More later... Well, I survived the therapy mainly because it was just an examination. My therapist is 9 months pregnant we hope to fix my leg before she delivers. I think I should start up a pool on that bet. She told me that I definitely have a loss of strength and range of movement in the ankle. She watched me walk and said that it is rolling or twisting when I walk. She suspects that I may still have micro tears in the Achilles tendon. Oh yes, and my arches are falling. On both feet but the injured one is worse. The ligaments are letting go. I heard those dreaded words from her; "Well, at your age... fallen arches are common". This weekend I will stop at the drugstore in search of Dr. Scholl. She suggested just buying over the counter inserts for now to try them. Dennis and I are making
a run up to the cabin in NH to check on it and hopefully get the water
running.
We're leaving early in the morning so I'll try to update when we get home.
I also want to take pictures up there. I MISS THAT PLACE!
