I have decided to keep track of what I'm reading.  If for no other reason than to avoid buying a book that I have already read.  Being as forgetful as I am, I've done that before on several occasions.  I always read more than one book simultaneously.  I have one in my backpack, one on the night stand and another in the living room.  I read whichever one is handy at the moment.  You'll notice that I'm in a rut.  I tend to read everything available by just a few authors.

Currently I'm reading:

 Various knitting and spinning publications..
Murder at Brent Institute by Dr. Jerry Labriola  A murder mystery. .
The Golden One by Elizabeth Peters I need a bit of fantasy right now.
Founding Mothers by Cokie Roberts History as described by the wives of our founding fathers  Very good so far.

I started these books, however I'm stalled in reading them.  I will finish them at some point.

The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien This on is on the nightstand.  It seems like I'll NEVER finish it.  On hold for now.
Northern Farm by Henry Beston On the night stand.  It's all right.  A little slow
Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh On hold too.
Journal of Solitude by May Sarton Kinda depressing.
The Last Time They Met by Anita Shreve The first book that I've read by her.  I can't decide if I like it.
