Diet start date 1/11.  Total Weight Loss needed to reach goal:  74.8 lbs

 I now have 4 job bids pending at the Emerald City. 
I have an interview on Friday for one of the jobs.

Weather:  Cold, Cold, Cold .  We need rain!. Our rainfall is 15" below normal.

I’m waiting to leave for my appointment with the therapist.  I don’t know if they are doing any me good.  I still feel the same.  The appointments have been spaced so far apart that we spend about the first 15 minutes of every appointment reviewing the previous one.  So far, I have been taught how to breathe and to write down things that bother me.  I’ve been doing that for nearly 4 years now (the writing down part, not the breathing.  I've been breathing for a very long time).   At least these appointments are free courtesy of the insurance company.

Later…

The doctor told me that I have to get happy (the theme song from the Partridge Family is spinning in my head).  I’m in a rut and it is causing anxiety and the anxiety is causing stress.  I need to have fun.  I knew these things it's just a matter of how to do it.  He suggests I change my pattern even if it’s just in small ways such as taking a different route home or going for a walk in the evening.  Anything to break the sequence of work, home, bed, repeat.  It made sense when he put it that way.

Oh, yeah, he made additional appointments spaced closer together. 

Today I am thankful for:

1:  Cranberry Sauce.
2:  Health Insurance.
3:  Lite Hot Chocolate.
4:  Old black & white photographs.
5:  The scent of Shalimar perfume.  I have never owned any of it, but I always loved it's fragrance.
