Dennis(Steve):
Husband, best
friend, buddy. His name is Stephen Dennis, I have been referring to him as
Dennis here for years. We've know each other since 1989, but only been married
since 1993. Computer nerd.
Ryan:
My 20 year old son from previous
marriage to GK.
GK (or called G before 6/99):
Ex-husband, sometimes arch-enemy.
Usually tolerated with indifference. We were married for 12 years.
We get along much better now that we live on opposite sides of town.
Kimmy:
23 year old step daughter.
We think she lives with her mother and brother. She has had some
trouble when she was a teen with the law but we pray she is on the straight
and narrow now. We haven't seen or heard from her or her brother Donny
since CP's funeral in 2002.
Donny:
25 year old step son. Usually stays out
of trouble. Has
epileptic seizures and ADD, and all the other "letter" conditions plaguing
the children of this generation. Hopefully, he has grown out of his health
issues. We don't know, haven't seen him.
Rene:
Donny's girlfriend as of June 2000. She
seemed level headed and mature.
Whether they stay together remains to be seen.
Lizard:
Kimmy & Donny's mother.
Dennis' ex wife. Need I say more?
Dad:
My 90 year old father.
Passed away 04/01/06.
CP:
My mother in law. We
used to work together at the Bank Named After an Enema. She forced
me to go out on a blind date with Dennis. She told me he was divorced
and just hanging around the house. She wanted him out, so she could
stake her claim on the extra bedroom. I went out with him in spite
of this. She's was bit eccentric. I think that's why we got
along. She passed away suddenly on 11/23/02. I miss her.
LP:
My father in law. Nice
man, very French Canadian. I can't always understand him, so I nod and grin
a lot when he speaks to me.
RJ:
My remaining brother, about
14 years older than I am. We get along, even when we disagree.
He and Dad didn't speak. They have never liked each other.
I think it's because they are both similar. But I can't say that
to either one of them.
JC:
My brother's wife.
They've been together for eternity, so she is like a sister to me.
When I was 6 years old, she taught me to tie my shoes. She's currently
suffering with many physical problems. She has also been diagnosed
with FMS.
RW:
My brother that passed
away in 1994 as the result of the HIV virus. We all still miss him
deeply.
Babe:
My sister. She's
about 20 years older than I am, so we have a rather weird relationship.
She lives in another part of the country and I haven't seen her since 1991. We keep in touch by phone and email. We're more like
friends than sisters. She has lupus and FMS.
Ronbo:
Dennis' redneck friend.
He's loud and vulgar. This guy really gets on my nerves. He
and Dennis became friends as they both went through their divorces at the
same time. I try not to be home when he comes over.
These are my coworkers at my former job at the Emerald City. I quit there in March of 2005 and have not regretted it.
#1Boss aka DickthePrick:
My manager, at the Emerald
City. Think of an old hippie. I call him this not because he
is so wonderful but because he is #1 in the chain of command.
#2MCB
Male Chauvinist Boss Asst.
Manager. Think Redneck-not Jeff Foxworthyish. Nasty, horny,
sexist. He quit in February
2001.
T:
Extremely organized and task
oriented. She's intelligent in a street-wise manner and she can remember
EVERYTHING. Problem is that she is extremely emotional. Some
days are spent in tears, other days in deep, hearty laughter. Other
days, she will turn upon me like a cornered animal. She is a roller
coaster ride.
C:
Very likable although
a little daffy. Currently going through menopause, prone to mood
swings. She abruptly quit in April 1999, but we still have contact
with her.
B:
Nice guy. Divorced,
lonely, infatuated with his ex-wife although they have been divorced for
over 6 years. He finally quit the Emerald City in Jan. 2000, and
has disappeared from our lives.
M:
On the surface, she seems
very nice and kind. She is extremely intelligent. I found out
first hand, she has a history of severe mental illness. She is prone
to call people that she is upset with at home and hang up all through the
night. Almost a stalker. She was fired in Oct. 1998, but she
still calls and we know that she is out there, somewhere. Very scary.
MJ:
This is the buyer
that started in June 1999. She's a sweet kid, but still a KID.
I'm trying to be patient with her. She quit in Sept. 2002.
G:
The clerk in our department.
She started 6/99. She is intelligent, but she does just enough work
to get her by. Never volunteers to help the rest of us. She
has a very big chip on her shoulder. She quit in December 2000.
"A" or AC:
She took G's place as our
clerk. She's very helpful, and pleasant but a bit of a flake.
NuBil:
The buyer that took B's place.
A nice man with a very dry sense of humor. We get along well.
BT:
New Purchasing Agent as of
5/01. She is well educated and intelligent. She is also
insane. She is bi-polar as she is prone to violent and vicious
outbursts. She attacked a Vice President at the Emerald City and yet they
did not fire her. She has been medicated since 2/04 and is calm most days.
She is a ticking time bomb that could go off at any time. I have nicknamed
her Sybil. Just my luck, she hates me for reasons known only to her.
She has indicated that I ruined her life, but I have no idea how I did it.
Scary part is that her husband is a policeman and there are guns in her
home. She tried to run me down in the garage at work. No
witnesses. Her word against mine. She is the reason I eventually
quit the job. I was afraid for my life.
BD: New to our department in 10/03. Her step-brother is one of the high up exec's in the company. She appeared out of no where when we didn't even have a job opening in the department-they created the position for her. She seems nice though.
J:
Our Director. #1Boss'
boss. Nice guy. Quiet, intelligent. He was laid-off in
May 2003.
Allan:
Was new Director when
J left. He has also left the company and no one has replaced him.
