Cut Loose-September 2002

Xiang is at the point where she is asking about past participles and tense and sentence structure.  I discussed this with my Director and she agrees with me that Xiang is advanced and doesn't need me as a tutor.  I had to actually buy some grammar books to answer her questions.  My director will inform her that our partnership is over and advise her to attend the adult education classes upstairs for the more advanced learning.

I feel as though I am deserting her but as my Director says, there are many people on the waiting list for tutors that need help just get by day to day.

I'm going to take a break from the tutoring for a while.  The responsibilities of my new job have my head spinning.
